Located along the northern Front Range in Boulder and Weld counties, Longmont is a peaceful and family-friendly home rule municipality stretching 30 square miles. The name “Longmont” comes from Longs Peak, a prominent mountain clearly visible from town. Longmont gets very festival during the holiday season with the Longmont Holiday Festival. Roosevelt Park comes to life with a festive display featuring thousands of lights. It’s the perfect place for a stroll, and there are lights, tours, shopping, a parade, special events, and much more. The Boulder County Fair is Colorado’s oldest fair and features rodeos, special events, motorized sports, rides, great food, and much more.
